Dandemutande and Trust Academy Collaborate to Offer Industry-Based ICT Courses

ICT is one of the more rapidly growing industries in the world with newer technologies now being rolled out faster than ever before in human history. The demand for specialized talent has also risen in tandem, further expanding the disparity between matching skills and their supply.  In a bid to help bridge this gap, leading ICT solutions provider Dandemutande Pvt Ltd has partnered with Trust Academy to offer industry-based courses, which will equip students with the requisite theoretical knowledge and practical experience to work with live ICT systems, and thus, enable them to take advantage of abounding opportunities in the digital economy.

The partnership was cemented through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the two organizations at the Dandemutande

 Head Office in Harare on the 23rd of February 2023. Under the MOA, Dandemutande will bring its 25 years’ worth of ICT expertise by facilitating hands-on

 training, while Trust Academy will manage and certify the courses which are registered with the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development.

The partnership will witness courses being conducted to address immediate and emerging ICT needs in the telecoms, banking, education, government, and other sectors. An inaugural training program will be offered in the first half of the year for existing and aspiring Satellite Services Installers and Network Technicians covering VSAT Satellite Field Training. Areas to be covered in other courses will include Networks (VSAT, Wireless-LTE, Fibre), Security, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics and Big Data, Financial Modelling, and Internet of Things (IoT).

In fact, this symbiotic relationship is a vital component of improving the much-needed skills set that promote the growth and development of ICT.
